Tribal Council

The Council of the Tribe of Achaksah Nation is a respected governing body composed of representatives from each tribe within the Nation, including elders, clan mothers, spiritual leaders, and community members. The Council plays a central role in guiding the Nation, serving as the primary decision-making body for all matters that affect the well-being of the people, the land, and the sacred harmony between them. This includes a broad range of topics such as the preservation of our traditions, resource management, the resolution of disputes, peacekeeping, and decisions regarding war or defense.
